Production Engineering Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Production Engineer to provide support to customers and suppliers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing new processes, manufacturing prototypes, and validating products within specification.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing production engineering support to both customers and suppliers
- Supporting the production team in terms of planning and designing new processes
- Manufacturing of prototypes and validation of product within specification
- Identifying and implementing improvements to equipment, processes, and methods
- Driving improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve on-time delivery
- Applying, maintaining, and improving lean manufacturing procedures
- Developing processes and implementing a new ERP system
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Lean Six Sigma certification or training (Green Belt or higher) is advantageous
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- At least 25 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role
- Proven experience with process development, optimisation, and improvement initiatives
- Experience in prototype manufacturing, testing, and validation
- Hands-on experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement projects
- CAD software proficiency (e.g., Solid Works, Auto CAD)
- Understanding of quality control methods and statistical analysis tools
- Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in manufacturing
