Job Overview

This role is a critical component of our VAT management team, requiring strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Raise awareness of VAT and promote best practices within the organization.
  • Research client databases to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Liaise with senior colleagues to ensure effective management of VAT-related issues.
  • Provide training on VAT matters as required, utilizing expert knowledge to educate and support junior staff.
  • Lead and manage the VAT team, delegating tasks and responsibilities effectively.
  • Oversee the training and development of junior staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Professional qualification in taxation (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA).
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of VAT issues and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing VAT-related projects and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines.
  • A strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • A solutions-focused approach, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
