Medical Dispensing Specialist

We are part of a well-established company in the healthcare sector, with strong brands across Europe. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in the day-to-day running of the dispensary under the supervision of pharmacists.
- Prepare and dispense prescriptions in a professional manner.
- Prescription control and paperwork.
- Preparation of Monitored Dosage Systems and monthly claims for submission to relevant authorities.
- Advise and assist customers with over-the-counter products.
- Engage actively with customers and provide high standards in customer service.
Key responsibilities include ordering and accepting stock, ensuring the stockroom meets required standards, and implementing planograms according to guidelines.
The ideal candidate will be innovative, able to build rapport with customers, and possess excellent communication skills. They will prioritize tasks, work confidentially, and consistently live the Company Values.
Essential criteria include a Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies or equivalent, ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, and excellent communication skills.
Beneficial criteria include experience working in high-volume dispensing and customer service environments, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and software expertise.
