Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the dispensary, answering phone calls and responding to inquiries, preparing and dispensing prescriptions to patients, managing and monitoring prescribed dosages, handling paperwork and monthly claims (if necessary), and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Key responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with customers.
  • You will also be required to work independently and as part of a team, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise.

In this fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a variety of areas, including patient care, medication management, and customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively.

  • A higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or in a healthcare setting would be an advantage.
