Job Overview
">We are seeking a highly skilled Water Network Project Manager to oversee the delivery and management of water & waste water network connection projects for private sector clients in Ireland.
">The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting the quality of works on site, reviewing developer documentation, and liaising with site representatives to ensure compliance with Irish Water Standard Details and Codes of practice.
">This role involves undertaking site quality control inspections as directed by clients, examining works on site, and confirming conformance with Irish Water Standards.
">Site inspection of diversions is also required to ensure compliance with Irish Water Standard Details and Codes of Practice.
">The successful candidate will be based in the regional office and will require regular inspections on development sites throughout the geographical region.
">The role requires a strong understanding of Health and Safety regulation requirements for site inspections.
">Requirements
">A Level 8 degree in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
">At least six years' experience in the design, procurement, and/or contract supervision of water services projects is necessary.
">A track record in the delivery of water network projects is essential.
">Experience in water conservation, DMA design and establishment, leakage control, pressure management, network management, and watermains rehabilitation would be advantageous.
">Working knowledge of typical contract forms is necessary.
">Contractor design review experience would be beneficial.
">A team player with excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and leadership abilities is required.
">Ability to lead and motivate teams; willing to take ownership of issues and seek participation to achieve the best solution.
">Excellent IT skills, familiar with relevant computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project) are required.
