Machinist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our production team. The successful candidate will work in a busy machine shop, producing high-precision components using CNC lathes and milling machines.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate precision-engineered parts production equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Read and interpret technical specifications to meet quality and client standards.
  • Carry out fitting, turning, and finishing work as required to achieve precise results.
  • Inspect parts for accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Maintain machinery and report any issues or defects promptly to prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with the wider manufacturing team to optimize production efficiency and quality control.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards in the workshop.
  • Document and record production activities for traceability and quality assurance.
  • Support initiatives to enhance production efficiency and improve workflows.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in precision engineering and/or CNC machining and/or fitting/turning roles.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with precision engineering processes, materials, and tools.
  • Experience working to high precision and quality standards, preferably within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or food processing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
