About the Role:

This role requires a skilled Cloud Engineer to help build our hybrid cloud future. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of professional experience and 5 years of experience as a Cloud or Reliability Engineer.

Key responsibilities include deploying, supporting and managing hybrid cloud infrastructure and services, focusing on Azure and on-premises integration.

Collaboration with project teams is essential to implement and support a robust hybrid cloud environment across Microsoft Azure and AIB On-Premises environments.

Owning production incident and problem resolution, you will ensure operational issues are managed and resolved as quickly as possible.

Effective root-cause and trend analysis of threats and issues is crucial, liaising effectively with stakeholders and ensuring lessons learnt are embedded into BAU.

Change management is also key, ensuring that changes to production platforms are captured in the system and performed at a time appropriate to the risk involved.

Implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions is vital to ensure the reliability and performance of hybrid cloud services.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8 years of professional experience.
  • 5 years of experience as a Cloud or Reliability Engineer.

Strong knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages such as Terraform, Jira, Confluence.

Certification in Azure technologies, additional certifications in AWS would be a plus.

Project experience migrating and deploying cloud based solutions (GCP, Azure or AWS) with an understanding of Agile, SCRUM and Continuous Delivery.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
