Job Overview

This is a key position in the Financial Operations department, overseeing the financial, cash, operational, and compliance aspects of Special Purpose Vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage SPV financial statements and NAV calculations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting to fund management and investors, ensuring seamless communication and transparency.
  • Manage cash flows, capital calls, distributions, and intercompany financing between SPVs and fund entities, optimizing liquidity and funding availability.
  • Support annual and interim audits, guaranteeing deliverables are complete and accurate.
Cash Management and Oversight
  • Monitor daily cash positions across SPVs to maintain liquidity and funding availability, minimizing risks and maximizing returns.
  • Optimize surplus cash utilization, aligning with fund policies and financing arrangements to achieve optimal results.
  • Prepare detailed funds flow statements to support routing of cash between SPVs within the structure, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Coordinate with banks, administrators, and treasury teams on account openings, KYC, and signatory controls, maintaining robust risk management practices.
Operations and Compliance
  • Coordinate with fund administrators, legal counsel, and auditors on SPV-related matters, guaranteeing regulatory compliance and adherence to local requirements.
  • Ensure proper documentation of acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, and financings within SPVs, maintaining transparent and auditable records.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, fund administrators, and corporate service providers, fostering strong relationships and facilitating smooth operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Solid experience in private equity, fund structures, and SPV accounting, with a strong understanding of regulatory environments.
  • Hands-on experience in cash management and treasury processes, with expertise in optimizing liquidity and funding availability.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple SPVs across jurisdictions, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with proficiency in presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • High attention to detail, with analytical and problem-solving abilities, ensuring accurate reporting and data-driven decision-making.
