Job Overview:
Mechanical Assembly TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling various components, with a strong understanding of AC/DC electrics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Able to inspect own work and that of colleagues, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
- Proficient in using hand, air, and electric tools to complete tasks efficiently.
- Effective communicator, able to liaise with supervisors, managers, and team members on an ongoing basis.
- Adhere to company policies, legal guidelines, and maintain a safe working environment.
In addition to these responsibilities, successful candidates should demonstrate initiative, ability to work independently, and as part of a team. Strong reading and interpretation skills for electrical drawings are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble complex mechanical components according to customer specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production workflow.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and external partners.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, manufacturing).
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and company health and safety procedures.
