About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with actuarial knowledge to join our IT Underwriting Non-Life Unit in Dublin. This role is focused on the Pricing area and involves supporting the development of our applications.

In this position, you will work closely with Business Experts to analyze business processes, define business rules, and specify solutions that meet business needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Analysis & Design: Analyze information needs, system flows, data usage, and business processes; identify areas for improvement; develop solutions; define business rules
  • Solution design and specifications: Specify solutions that meet business needs and requirements; analyze data to identify insights that can inform business decisions; assist the development team in planning, execution, and monitoring; create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions
  • Solution Testing and Support: Define and execute tests in collaboration with users; conduct software quality assurance before business testing; plan, coordinate, and provide support for test activities, including user support during acceptance tests; produce required documentation

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • At least 5 years of experience analyzing business processes in Financial Services
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand our business processes
  • Excellent communication and language skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL)
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
  • Ability to work effectively within diverse teams and stakeholders
  • University degree or equivalent in IT/Computer Science
  • Actuarial knowledge advantageous
