The Distribution Grid Management Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Network Management System (NMS), ensuring its smooth operation and reliability.

The NMS is a critical operational technology (OT) system that supports our Distribution Markets and System Operation (DMSO) business. As a Distribution Grid Management Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers high-quality services to our customers.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining 24x7 operation of the NMS, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues
  • Providing support for the rollout and reliable operation of the NMS
  • Supporting NMS business users and managing communications to these users
  • Delivering new projects required to meet the strategic objectives of the DMSO and operations teams
  • Maintaining and updating the network model with daily quality audits and issue resolution
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements

You will work closely with our NMS Vendor to ensure the system remains up-to-date and provides quality end-to-end service to our customers.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Either 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to deliver on key responsibilities outlined above
  • A strong work ethic with a clear focus on delivery to safety, time, quality, and cost objectives
