BIM Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled BIM Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in the creation and management of digital models for construction and engineering projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and updating 3D BIM models for various construction projects, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. You will create detailed BIM models that support project design, construction, and facility management, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to define project requirements and ensure the correct implementation of BIM. You will coordinate and resolve design conflicts between disciplines using clash detection and coordination tools. You will also maintain open communication with all project stakeholders to ensure that the BIM model reflects the latest design changes, revisions, and updates.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, manage, and update 3D BIM models for various construction projects
• Create detailed BIM models that support project design, construction, and facility management
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to define project requirements and ensure the correct implementation of BIM
• Coordinate and resolve design conflicts between disciplines using clash detection and coordination tools
• Maintain open communication with all project stakeholders to ensure that the BIM model reflects the latest design changes, revisions, and updates

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BIM roles, preferably in construction, architecture, or engineering projects
• Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar BIM platforms
• Familiarity with 3D modelling, clash detection, and BIM-related project management tools
• Strong knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systems and how they integrate within BIM workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex issues related to BIM models and project coordination
• Exceptional attention to detail in modelling, documentation, and coordination tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines and with stakeholders
