Leading a Global Manufacturing Business
This senior leadership role requires an experienced General Manager with a strong sales background.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of achieving business targets while prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of all team members.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a high-performing leadership team, comprising Sales Director, Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Planning & Scheduling.
- Ensuring production targets are met to satisfy customer requirements.
- Driving change through the organization and engaging with the workforce through regular meetings with teams.
- Overseeing business sales and production strategies, holding regular meetings with teams.
- Collaborating with the Sales Director to develop action plans to grow the business and profitability.
Key tasks include:
- Individual weekly meetings with leadership, engineering, HR, quality.
- Monitoring market trends, commodities, energy, economic, and geopolitical concerns.
- Conducting regular health and safety floor walks and overseeing H&S issues.
- Collaborating with finance, production, sales, and engineering to review capital expenditure requirements.
