About the Role
  • This dynamic position involves providing personal care and support to our members in their homes and communities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with our members and their families, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded through effective communication and empathy.
  • Liaise closely with other home carers and maintain open communication with the ALS Coordinator/Scheduling staff to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Provide personal care and support to our members, including assistance with daily living tasks, social activities, and travel arrangements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 modules completed of the Major Award at QQI Level 5, including Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
  • Relevant qualification and a commitment to complete the major award, demonstrating your dedication to professional development.
  • Experience of working with people in a caring role, showcasing your ability to provide empathetic support and guidance.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills with a good level of spoken and written English, facilitating effective interaction with colleagues and service users.
  • Access to your own car and full driving licence, enabling you to transport members safely and efficiently.
