Job Title: Field Service Engineer Ireland

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Field Service Engineer in Ireland.

About the Role:

We are seeking a professional with excellent technical skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to breakdown calls and completing planned works on Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) throughout Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to breakdown calls and efficiently complete planned works as directed by the Service Management/Call Desk daily.
  • Perform installation and configuration of new RVMs, including providing comprehensive customer training.
  • Participate in the on-call breakdown cover rotation to ensure continuous support for customers.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of all activities, using the documents provided by customers and the company.
  • Demonstrate urgency in resolving customer escalations to ensure problems are promptly addressed.
  • Responsible management of the company vehicle, tools, and stock provided for the job.
  • Respond positively to performance data related to field operations, striving for continuous improvement in effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Prepare technical reports for internal and external use, aiding in the preparation of quotations.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety legislation and required quality systems to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Fulfill any other reasonable requests compatible with the job description, as identified by the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field of study.
  • Experience in a Retail support environment (scales, POPs, Vending machines, etc) preferred but not essential.
  • Previous Health & Safety certification (e.g., Safe Pass).
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical fault finding.
  • Possession of a full clean Driving Licence.
