Support Professional - Residential Role

This is a rewarding career opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a residential setting, supporting individuals with complex needs. As a Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care and support to enable individuals to achieve their goals and live independently.

Essential Criteria:
  • A full QQI level 5 major award in Health/Care is essential for this role.
  • You must have an awareness of Key Worker/Support Worker Role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs.
  • The ability to programme plan person-centred plans is crucial.
  • A full drivers licence (manual) is desirable.
  • Permission to work in Ireland is essential for this position.

Qualifications Required:

A full QQI level 5 Health Care Qualification is essential. However, it is a genuine passion for providing person-centred support that is key to being successful in this role.

Skills/Abilities Required:
  • Excellent communication skills are required.
  • The ability to work on own initiative is essential.
  • Awareness of Key Worker/Support Worker Role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs.
  • Programme planning person-centred plans.
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
  • A full, clean drivers licence (manual) is desirable.

  • They will support individuals to understand their rights and help them make their own decisions.
