Senior Regulatory Reporting Expert Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Audit & Assurance team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing regulatory reporting advice and expertise to a broad range of Financial Services clients.

About the Role:
  • Provide technical experience and expertise to assist clients in managing their relevant regulatory requirements in terms of European Regulation (CRD/CRR, BRRD).
  • Interpret and implement new and existing regulations.
  • Support the development of client regulatory reporting control frameworks, processes and risk policies and enhance/implement systems and processes in relation to regulatory reporting.
  • Support the development of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Review and support client documentation in relation to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in secondments to client Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Risk and Treasury Functions.
About You:
  1. Proven experience in Regulatory Reporting/Treasury with a background in Banking/Financial Services industry or practice.
  2. Familiarity with regulatory reporting such as Prudential (COREP, FINREP), LCR, NSFR, ALMM, STE, Pillar III and Ana Credit returns including systems and processes normally used in the compilation and submission of European/Irish regulatory returns.
  3. Understanding of regulatory rules and reporting requirements including Basel III, CRD/CRR, BRRD and the wider regulatory environment.
  4. Able to work independently in a challenging and dynamic work environment with outstanding communication and people skills.
  5. Skilled in data manipulation and analysis techniques with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets.
  6. Able to challenge current processes and workflows with the ability to automate or enhance these processes to deliver concise reporting, reduce timelines and dependencies.
  7. A strong professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA) or extensive experience gained within a relevant business environment is required.
  8. Strong IT skills with a good understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and analytical tools (SAS, VBA, SQL).
