Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to children aged 0-18 years and families within the region. Key responsibilities include assessment, diagnostics, intervention, clinical supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across various settings including clinics, schools, preschools, special schools, children's homes, and community settings. The post holder will be required to maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.

To be successful in this role, you will require essential criteria such as being registered or eligible for registration as a Speech & Language Therapist, having three years' full-time post-qualification clinical experience, and holding a full clean driving licence and access to own transport.

Desirable skills and qualifications include experience of interdisciplinary team working, minimum two years' experience working with children with disabilities, experience working with children with eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties, and experience working with Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC).

Requirements
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Speech & Language Therapist
  • Three years' full-time post-qualification clinical experience
