TN Ireland is seeking a temporary Product Development Engineer to support the development of medical devices from feasibility through to market introduction on a contract basis for our customers. As a Product Development Engineer, you will work in a dynamic environment to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop balloon catheters, braided shafts, and/or delivery systems for use in medical procedures to meet customer needs from initial prototype to commercialization.
- Develop effective, reliable, and efficient processes for medical device manufacturing to consistently deliver products meeting customer, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Document design and development activities in adherence to product development process deliverables supporting development from prototyping through to product commercialization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with product development process (PDP), medical device design, and regulation is essential.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the medical device industry, ideally with catheter, braided shaft, or delivery system experience.
- Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Biotechnology programs.
- Proven record in innovative design and/or product development.
