Automotive Sales Representative

The role of an Automotive Sales Representative is to provide exceptional customer service while promoting and selling diversified lines of products.

You will be the ambassador for our brand, greeting customers with a positive attitude and engaging them in meaningful conversations about their needs. Your goal is to understand their requirements and offer personalized solutions that meet their expectations.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Selling and supporting a range of products via phone, email, and in-store.
  • Delivering high levels of customer service and identifying opportunities to upsell and promote Private Brands and eCommerce channels.
  • Handling customer transactions efficiently, including sales, returns, and defectives.
  • Ensuring accurate filling and delivery of customer orders.
  • Reconciling transaction history and drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Operating the store point-of-sale system and searching for parts and customer accounts.
  • Assisting with merchandising activities, maintaining standards of appearance, and coordinating product presentation and inventory management.
  • FOLLOWING POLICIES related to cash, credit, check, refund, and return policies.
  • Contributing proactively to improvements in branch sales and profitability.
  • Maintaining 'in-stock' standards and operating procedures.
  • Effectively communicating with team members, management, and customers.
  • Supporting warehouse functions and delivery/pickup of products as required.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive aftermarket (Jobber) parts industry.
