Technical Project Manager Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Technical Project Manager. This role will involve working on a multi-year, international programme of work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project delivery within global, matrixed organisations, with experience leading multiple workstreams and collaborating across different cultures and time zones. Prior technical experience with infrastructure (Network & Compute), SAP-based warehouse management systems, and a background in manufacturing environments is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, design, execution phases, including Stage Gates.
  • Manage risks, stakeholders, escalations, present updates to steering committees.
  • Produce weekly status reports, governance packs, project communications.
  • Manage cross-functional teams across global sites to ensure timely updates.
  • Support mentor other project managers or staff performing PM functions.
  • Oversee project pipelines interdependencies through portfolio forums.
  • Engage with the Global PMO strategy teams on new initiatives policies procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with project management audit controls.

Essential Criteria

  • 7+ years' IT Project Management experience leading projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Waterfall Agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects presenting leadership teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools MS Project Office 365 PPM tools.
  • Comfortable using Azure DevOps ADO.
  • Solid technical understanding of IT delivery projects Compute Network Software Solutions.
  • Excellent communication presentation stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills attention detail.
  • Project Management qualification PMI PMP equivalent.
  • Experience mentoring leading validation phases projects.
  • Ability work effectively complex global matrixed environments.
