**Nutrition Expert Wanted for Specialist Role**

 

The successful candidate will provide expert nutrition and dietetic services to clients with cystic fibrosis, respiratory conditions, and other related areas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of professional practice in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide a comprehensive nutrition and dietetic service to clients, including assessment, advice, and support.
  • Develop and disseminate evidence-based guidelines on dietetic care within the specialist area locally, regionally, and nationally.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and attend ward rounds to provide expert advice.
  • Deliver care within a planned approach to meet the needs of Inpatients, Outpatients, and Day Cases.
  • Use highly developed communication and teaching skills to educate and support diverse and multicultural populations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure clients' nutritional needs are met.
  • Supervise junior staff members and participate in clinical supervision and appraisal.
  • Contribute to operational and strategic planning of the dietetic services.
  • Participate in research and audit projects within the specialist area.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Registration as a Dietitian by the relevant regulatory body.
  • Minimum 3 years full-time post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of duties.
  • Annual registration with the relevant professional register.
  • Good character and satisfactory health status.
