Job Title: MEP Design Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in Dublin City Centre. As an MEP Design Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering design and detailing services for Mechanical and Electrical systems across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on BIM and CAD files using Revit and AutoCAD
- Design and detail Mechanical and Electrical systems
- Collaborate with engineering staff to produce deliverables including drawings and schedules
- Communicate with internal teams and external clients regarding required drawing modifications
- Manage document control and filing processes
- Prepare drawings from scratch as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience in modelling mechanical and electrical systems within a consulting engineering office or building contractor
- Proficiency in BIM authoring software, including Revit, Navisworks, and CAD 3D
- Knowledge of CAD principles, including layering, x-refs, paper space, and model space conventions
- Continual professional development in REVIT/BIM/Navisworks
Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary range of €45k - €60k per year, negotiable depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. The position can be based in Cork or Dublin and requires an EU passport or Stamp 4 visa.
Additional Information:
The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, split between office and project locations. A background in consulting or construction is preferred, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
