Job Title: Cybersecurity Strategist

A leading organization in the industry is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Strategist to drive security strategies and enhance the resilience of critical IT environments. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of business and technology, providing expert guidance on secure system design and risk assessment.

This senior-level position will focus on secure system design and risk assessment for the first 6-12 months, ensuring robust security architectures. After this period, the role will expand into a broader security function, influencing organizational security strategy and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ISO27001 consulting, including gap analysis, audits, and implementation projects. They will also possess strong knowledge of information security frameworks (SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST, CIS).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on ISO27001, providing guidance on audits, gap analysis, and implementation.
  • Deliver security consultancy services to diverse clients, advising on risk assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Conduct security assessments of systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify risks and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Configure and test security tooling, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Provide security awareness training and lead incident response tabletop exercises.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in ISO27001 consulting, including gap analysis, audits, and implementation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of information security frameworks (SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST, CIS).
  • Ability to assess, configure, and test security tools and solutions.
  • Experience in delivering security advisory services.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions, training sessions, and security reporting.
