About the Position:
As a Senior Lead Cybersecurity Strategist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security controls that prevent cyber threats. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our company's security architecture and ensuring the integrity of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embed threat modeling, security design & architecture reviews into product and application teams to foster a culture of security by design.
- Proactively monitor key risk indicators to identify potential security vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to support business decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerability.
- Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus, influencing peers and project decision-makers to consider leading-edge technologies.
Requirements:
- Hands-on practical experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls via Threat Modeling and Security Design & Architecture Reviews.
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable, in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., public cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in influencing peers inside and outside your department.
- Experience operating in a regulated organization with a 3LoD (Line of Defence) model.
- Willingness to challenge existing regimes and processes in a respectful manner.
