- The role of a Social Care Director involves providing high-quality support services to children in residential settings. This is a critical position that requires exceptional leadership skills and experience in social care.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the provision of social care services to young people under the age of 12, ensuring alignment with client policies and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and external partners to deliver seamless services and achieve shared objectives.
- Contribute to policy development and implementation related to social care, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant qualification in social care (minimum level 7) is mandatory.
- Prior work experience in a similar setting is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within social care in children's residential services is essential.
- Full clean driver's license is preferred for effective service delivery.
- Knowledge of HIQA standards is necessary for regulatory compliance.
- Flexibility to work across all shifts – days, nights, evenings, weekends – is required.
