Lead Retail Professional - Grocery Department

As a senior retail leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of a team of retail professionals. Your primary objective is to drive sales and profitability while maintaining operational efficiency in the Dublin region.

Your role involves leading by example, inspiring high levels of customer care and service excellence through coaching and mentoring. You will also be accountable for delivering agreed business objectives and adhering to company principles of operations and customer service.

To succeed in this position, you must possess excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills, as well as a commercial mindset and product knowledge. People management and IT skills are desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise sales and achieve budgeted targets
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and operational standards
  • Analyse sales data and trading patterns to inform department decisions and pre-empt customer needs
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the department has the right range and quantity of products to drive sales
  • Monitor and address variations to the cost base of the department on a week-to-week basis
  • Ensure compliance with store layouts and adjacencies
  • Provide feedback and coaching to team members to enhance their performance and contribute to the overall success of the department

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving results in a fast-paced retail environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. They will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
