Job Title: Senior Behaviour SpecialistNua Healthcare Services, a leading provider of private healthcare in Ireland, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill this key role.As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial part in supporting individuals with complex support needs through the development of comprehensive behaviour support plans.The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, creating multi-element behaviour support plans (MEBSPs), and promoting positive behaviour support across the organization. You will work closely with colleagues to integrate recommendations into individual personal plans and provide training to front-line staff.Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake functional assessments and develop MEBSPs to support individuals with their behaviour, teach new skills, and improve overall quality of life.
  • Promote positive behaviour support across the organization through quality checking and improvement planning of personal plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate recommendations into individual personal plans and provide training to front-line staff.
  • Evaluate all MEBSPs to ensure they meet the highest standards and are compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • A psychology degree or equivalent MSc ABA qualification.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role or health/social care setting.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills.
