Senior Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned finance expert to join our global team as Senior Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will be located at one of our international hubs and will play a key role in driving financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Hub CFO, providing timely and accurate financial insights and support.
  • Oversee the governance of journal voucher review, account reconciliation review, and inter-company processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Lead the monthly US GAAP trial balance review process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the GA Manager, Affiliate staff members, and auditors, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve profitability.
  • Liaise with local affiliates on statutory requirements and reporting/tax matters, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Partner with Corporate Centre (US) to leverage expertise and best practices in accounting treatments and corporate policy/procedures interpretation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience, preferably with US GAAP accounting standards knowledge.
  • Fluent Spanish and English essential.
  • Controllership/Finance management experience gained in a Multinational Company.
  • Strong Systems Experience (e.g., SAP & Excel) is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and influencing skills; ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands.
