Abrivia is seeking a skilled Motor Injury Claims Handler to join their team in Dublin. As a proactive member of the claims department, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of bodily injury and liability claims from notification through to settlement.
The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service abilities. A CIP qualification or equivalent is required, along with proven experience managing motor injury claims.
Your Role:
- Manage a portfolio of motor injury claims from initial notification to settlement, ensuring all claims are handled in line with regulatory requirements.
- Assess policy cover and evaluate liability through investigation and analysis, conducting negotiations with claimants, solicitors, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Monitor financial exposure on claims and maintain appropriate reserves, handling litigation files and attending court hearings and settlement discussions as required.
- Identify and escalate potential fraudulent claims to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an efficient claims process.
Key Skills:
- CIP qualification or equivalent
- Proven experience managing motor injury claims
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Good understanding of claims handling regulations and processes
