Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for delivering innovative solutions? We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical design engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of complex mechanical systems, collaborating closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and developing mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and data centre projects;
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery;
  3. Mentoring junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge;
  4. Ensuring high standards of quality and professionalism in all work produced;
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to inform design decisions.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline;
  • 7+ years of experience in building services or mechanical engineering design;
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant engineering analysis tools;
  • A strong understanding of Irish building codes and standards;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing projects and teams.
