Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Office Manager to join our existing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless operations within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • To effectively communicate all services and hotel amenities to guests, providing them with a comprehensive understanding of the local area.
  • To facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • To develop and implement a relevant Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the front office department, ensuring all staff members are fully trained and aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • To create and manage efficient employee rosters, taking into account business needs and making necessary adjustments as required.
  • To maintain vigilant oversight of payment and invoicing policies, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • To handle reservations, amendments, cancellations, brochure requests, confirmation letters, room allocations, and general enquiries in accordance with hotel standards.
  • To facilitate effective communication within the department and throughout the hotel, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • To respond professionally and tactfully to customer concerns and complaints, escalating issues to senior management when necessary.
  • To report incidents, losses, or damages, taking action where possible to mitigate any negative impact.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. You will also have a solid understanding of hospitality principles and practices, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
