Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Office Manager to join our existing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient front office operations.

  1. To effectively communicate all hotel services and amenities to guests, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the local area.
  2. To facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
  3. To develop and implement a relevant standard operating procedure for the department, training staff to ensure compliance and adherence to procedures.
  4. To manage employee rosters efficiently, adapting to business needs and making adjustments as required.
  5. To maintain strict adherence to policies regarding payment methods and invoicing.
  6. To handle reservations, amendments, cancellations, brochure requests, confirmation letters, room allocations, and general enquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
  7. To facilitate open communication within the department and throughout the hotel, fostering a positive working environment.
  8. To address customer concerns and complaints in a professional and tactful manner, escalating issues to senior management when necessary.
  9. To report incidents, fire losses, or damages, taking prompt action where possible.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A high level of expertise in front office operations, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is essential for this role. A strong understanding of hospitality principles and practices is also required.
