Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Care Professional to join our team. As a Social Care Professional, you will work closely with adults with intellectual disabilities and their families to provide person-centred support and guidance.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, developing tailored care plans, promoting dignity and independence, and advocating for appropriate services and supports.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong understanding of safeguarding principles, disability rights, and person-centred care. You will also have excellent communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Essential Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification in Social Work
  • CORU Registration (essential)
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities or in disability services
  • Sound understanding of safeguarding principles, disability rights, and person-centred care
  • Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
