Senior Finance Professional

This role plays a pivotal part in our organisation, requiring a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with experience in managing high-volume financial processes, producing month- and year-end reports, and ensuring statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Record and monitor income from multiple sources on a weekly basis to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Reconcile records across different systems to maintain data integrity.
- Investigate discrepancies, liaise with stakeholders, and perform trend/variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead the month, quarter, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Prepare key reconciliations to support management accounts and statutory reporting.
- Support the preparation of management accounts, audit schedules, and liaison with auditors to ensure compliance.
- Ensure adherence to FRS 102 and Charities SORP regulations.
- Assist with the annual budget preparation and upload to the finance system, ensuring seamless integration.
- Qualified Accountant with 3–5+ years post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, with knowledge of SORP, FRS 102, and the Charities Act.
- Proven experience in month-end/year-end processes, management accounts, and audit support.
