Project Leadership Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will have accountability and authority for achieving project objectives.

  • You will lead the development of the project charter and management plan, directing and managing project execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, manage, and own project scope, creating detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Develop and manage the project Gantt chart, analyzing critical path, major workstreams, and intersecting milestones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional managers to define project budget, monitoring and maintaining costs.
  • Partner with the project team to create Quality Plans using 2-3 quality planning tools and techniques, monitoring and maintaining plans.
  • Develop a risk management plan for the project, identifying, analyzing, and understanding project risks, developing and monitoring a risk response plan.
  • Develop a Procurement Management Plan and collaborate on the selection of procurement partners.
  • Estimate, acquire, and assign project resources, defining the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member.
  • Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews.
  • Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project, based on the identification, analysis, and understanding of Stakeholder expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team and key stakeholders through a Communications Management Plan.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • PMP or equivalent certification.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience managing projects of increasing complexity.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Able to understand quality system(s).
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
