The Equipment Reliability Coordinator at Harmonics plays a pivotal role in ensuring equipment reliability through effective maintenance planning and coordination. The individual will review preventative maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and compile a schedule of works to match available resources.

Another key responsibility is collaborating with external contractors, scheduling their work to guarantee equipment availability. They will also close out planned orders in SAP, book services, and ensure timely invoicing and payment.

A significant aspect of this role is managing departmental KPIs and metrics, preparing reports for internal use, and disseminating performance information to site and senior management. The individual will identify deficiencies or gaps in compliance requiring further action.

The Equipment Reliability Coordinator will work closely with suppliers and maintenance technicians to develop maintenance routines for new equipment. They will also update existing work instructions based on field observations and improvement initiatives.

This role necessitates strategic management of the Maintenance stores function, adhering to policies and site strategy. The individual will compile spare parts requirements, set reorder levels on SAP, and conduct cycle counts and stock takes to ensure financial reporting directives are met.

Furthermore, the Equipment Reliability Coordinator will maintain site training compliance, adhere to GMP & EHS policies, and ensure a clean and tidy workspace. They will also identify and resolve unsafe environmental conditions, manage site cleanliness, and coordinate contractors.

Preferred qualifications include a degree or relevant technical qualification, along with minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance or a technical role in a chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements, including environmental, health and safety, quality, and employment law, is essential.

Essential skills include maintenance planning, maintenance coordination, and proficiency in SAP.
