Job Description:
We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Inbound Planner. In this role, you will work closely with the buying and materials planning team at our manufacturing facility. Your primary focus area will be on raw materials and packaging components purchasing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate inbound scheduling of raw materials and packaging components in line with production schedules.
  • Evaluate and resolve any scheduling issues related to inbound activities.
  • Recommend mitigation strategies for strategic stock levels.
  • Maintain excellent communication with the logistics team regarding supply chain issues.
  • Serve as a key liaison with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and updates.
  • Optimize inventory holding practices and identify agreed levels of raw materials and component inventory.

Requirements:
A minimum of a Leaving Certificate with a Third Level qualification or significant experience in a similar role. APICS Certification and MIT Supply Chain MicroMasters are highly desirable. You should have a proven track record of working in logistics planning roles, preferably in the FMCG or pharmaceutical sector. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in SAP MERP are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
