Job Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at RedChair Recruitment. As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a relevant third-level qualification and 1+ years experience in a food production setting. They will be responsible for conducting audits, monitoring hygiene and housekeeping, and ensuring compliance with HACCP regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to the Quality Management System across the Production Team.
- Monitor hygiene and housekeeping to maintain audit readiness.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve quality issues.
- Oversee daily check sheets and ensure compliance with food safety procedures.
- Prepare samples for laboratory testing.
- Write, review, and maintain policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Conduct audits to ensure Quality System effectiveness.
- Ensure food safety and quality compliance.
- Control documentation and maintain HACCP plans.
Requirements
- Relevant third-level qualification.
- 1+ years experience in a food production setting.
