A dynamic and innovative company is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join its team. As a key member of the engineering group, you will be responsible for designing complex high temperature heat pump systems, integrating them to clients' processes, and ensuring compliance with design intent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Design & Analysis
    • Develop detailed heat and mass balance calculations for thermal systems and prepare process flow diagrams.
    • Conduct data analysis on process performance to inform design decisions, system optimization, and energy efficiency improvements.
    • Develop process simulation models to evaluate system behavior and design alternatives.
    • Contribute to the development of P&IDs and control philosophies detailing system operation and logic.
  • Equipment and Piping Design
    • Select equipment including pumps, heat exchangers, valves (manual, control, safety), thermal stratification tanks, etc.
    • Design piping systems including line sizing, routing, and hydraulic calculations.
    • Apply knowledge of heat pump technology to augment system performance.
    • Prepare technical specifications, review vendor bids, and support procurement processes.
    • Evaluate project risks and recommend design alternatives where appropriate.
  • Construction and Commissioning Support
    • Provide field engineering support during construction, testing, and commissioning.
    • Ensure compliance with design intent and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Project & Documentation Coordination
    • Participate in internal and external project meetings with clients, consultants, and vendors, manage documentation, raise RFIs, and coordinate revisions through the project lifecycle.
