Project Manager - Thermal Power Plant

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 100 MW Thermal Power Plant in Dublin.

This is a full-time project-based role, requiring strong leadership and coordination skills. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing site activities, guiding BOP/Plant integration, and ensuring compliance with operating permits and accident prevention regulations.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, specifically in the power/energy industry. Experience working with Wartsila Gas Reciprocating Engines is desirable, but not essential.

  • Coordinate with O&M Manager, Warehouse Manager, and EHS Manager to ensure seamless operation.
  • Act as a contact point for customers, handling quotations, changes, costs, and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in project management, preferably in the power/energy industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Experience with Wartsila Gas Reciprocating Engines is desirable, but not essential.
