Power Plant Operations Manager

As a Power Plant Operations Manager, you will oversee the safe and efficient operation of a power generation facility. Your responsibilities include monitoring process parameters, coordinating with field staff, and ensuring operational excellence across shifts.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and optimize plant process parameters to ensure maximum efficiency and safety
  • Coordinate with field staff from the Control Room (CCR) to resolve any issues that may arise during operations
  • Act as the main point of contact for the National Control Centre (NCC) to receive and respond to real-time updates and instructions
  • Oversee grid-related testing, inspections, and equipment status to prevent any potential disruptions to operations
  • Lead shift teams and train operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently
  • Manage logs, consumables, inventories, and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimize downtime

Requirements:

  • Techincal qualification in mechanical or electrical disciplines
  • Experience in power plant operations or similar industrial facilities
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, tools, and inventory control
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and prioritize tasks
  • Able to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends, to ensure 24/7 operations
  • Fluent in English and able to interpret technical documentation
