Key Responsibilities:
  • Programme, configure and test industrial control systems for high-precision applications.
  • Implement efficient control system architectures to meet project specifications.
  • Optimise machinery performance through effective troubleshooting and maintenance strategies.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate comprehensive solutions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical or Control Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3 years' experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley or similar).
  • Strong understanding of motion control and industrial communications protocols.
  • Proven track record in commissioning, troubleshooting and supporting automated machinery.
  • Knowledge of validation and compliance standards for regulated industries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and support.
