Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced retail professional to join our team as Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of the store management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining operational excellence.

About the Role

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the store, including overseeing staff performance, managing inventory, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive sales and maximize profitability through effective inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Achieving sales targets and delivering commercial and operational excellence by working closely with the store team and other departments.
  • Providing regular service and product training to the store team to ensure they have the necessary skills to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Implementing and maintaining effective and efficient operational processes, procedures, and administration to support the smooth running of the store.
  • Supporting with recruitment, conducting performance/probation reviews, and deputizing in the absence of the Store Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous retail management experience at a similar level, preferably in a luxury or premium environment.
  • Possession of excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Proven track record of increasing overall business performance through effective sales and profit growth strategies.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain high levels of productivity in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take calculated risks.
