Job Title: Process Engineering Manager

 

About the Role:

This position leads a multi-functional team responsible for developing and producing medical devices used in the treatment of stroke. The role requires technical expertise to oversee manufacturing processes, provide process engineering knowledge, and collaborate with R&D teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate hands-on engineering skills to develop new manufacturing processes.
  • Liaise with contract manufacturing organizations to manage product builds, quality issue resolution, process development, and training.
  • Provide technical leadership for the transfer of new products and changes to existing products.
  • Develop and implement equipment and process improvements to enhance efficiency, product yield, and equipment reliability.
  • Implement new manufacturing processes and equipment to support the assembly of new products.
  • Represent supply chain interests on strategic projects, including breakthrough manufacturing technologies.

 

Requirements:

A Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering degree is essential, along with experience in a GMP-regulated Medical Device industry. Project management experience is also required, as well as expertise in special processes such as catheter assembly, polymer processing, metal processing, welding, and equipment design.
