The Tax Analyst role is a key position within the Custody Tax Operations team, responsible for managing client tax documentation and identifying opportunities to reduce withholding tax on behalf of Northern Trust's global client base.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients through accurate and timely processing of tax-related information.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage large volumes of tax documentation received by the team daily
- Identify and process opportunities for reducing withholding tax for Northern Trust's global client base
- Respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Work closely with relevant contacts to provide excellent service and support
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A strong educational background in Business or Tax, or a similar field
- Bright, articulate, and entrepreneurial skills, with the ability to navigate obstacles and work under pressure
- Demonstrated client servicing capabilities and excellent communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail at all times
- Numerical competence and strong problem-solving and analytical skills
