Electrical Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. This is a 12-month contract opportunity that will allow you to work on a large-scale new facility project.

This exciting project offers the chance to learn new technologies and develop current skills within a fast-paced environment with cutting-edge technology.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Critical Utilities Operations and Maintenance team, responsible for maximising Critical Utility equipment performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Optimising plant operation and maintenance plans to ensure safe and reliable operations
  • Reviewing vendor documents and reports to manage effective close-out of Work Orders
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting electrical issues to minimise downtime and maintain environmental control
  • Maintaining and growing relationships with Service Providers in partnership with stakeholders
  • Evaluating compliance with Regulatory and Legal requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an Engineering role overseeing Electrical Maintenance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • A minimum of an Electrical Trade qualification with further development in their career history
  • High level of computer literacy with experience in CMMS, safety investigation systems, and Utility system software systems
  • Experience in reading functional design specifications, control drawings, electrical drawings, and P&ID's
