Business Central Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled AL developer to join our team and contribute to the development of Business Central extensions.


About the Role:
  • Develop and maintain modular AL extensions for Business Central, ensuring seamless upgrades and compatibility.
  • Lead the conversion of legacy C/AL customisations into modern AL-based extensions as part of our digital transformation initiative.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment processes to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developments and customisations.
  • Support integration efforts with LS Retail and other third-party solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with Microsoft's latest AL language updates and Business Central roadmap.
About You:
  • Proven experience developing in AL for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential.
  • A strong understanding of Business Central architecture, including object ranges, licensing, and extension management is required.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
  • Familiarity with C/AL and the transition process to AL is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of LS Retail or other vertical solutions is beneficial.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities are necessary.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate is desirable.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments is advantageous.
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps and automated testing frameworks is beneficial.
