Senior Medical Officer Sexual Health Clinic
Job Overview:A highly skilled medical professional is required to provide clinical support in a sexual health clinic.
Key Responsibilities:Attend and deliver clinical services during scheduled evening clinics, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice are maintained.
Conduct thorough sexual health assessments and genital examinations, using your expertise to diagnose and treat a range of STIs.
Prescribe and administer PrEP, doxyPEP, and vaccinations as required, ensuring patients receive the best possible treatment.
Collaborate closely with Consultants and nurses to deliver high-quality care, working together as a team to achieve outstanding results.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation, supporting the development of effective team protocols and contributing to continuous service improvement.
Irish Medical Council registration (current), demonstrating your commitment to ongoing professional development.
Clinical experience in sexual health, STI, or GUM services, showcasing your expertise and passion for this area of healthcare.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build effective relationships with colleagues, patients, and other stakeholders.
The right to work in Ireland, allowing you to contribute to the country's vibrant healthcare community.
