Operational Excellence Manager

This is your chance to take ownership of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and lead its operational success.

You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of utilities, support equipment, lighting, and building systems to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

  • Maintenance Strategy: Develop and manage maintenance schedules for infrastructure and equipment, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, local, national, and industry-specific.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Source, negotiate, and manage service contracts for cleaning, security, waste, and maintenance.
  • Budget Oversight: Prepare and manage financial resources, including forecasting for repairs, upgrades, and capital improvements.
  • Project Delivery: Lead facility-related projects such as expansions, renovations, and equipment installations on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Operational Excellence, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in operational excellence, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
